# Publish the project's wiki pages to the git host's wiki.
#
# On a push to main that changes docs/wiki/, this workflow calls the reusable
# workflow of TirSystem/github-action, which copies the Markdown pages of
# docs/wiki/ to the wiki of this repository (framework/process/wiki.md says
# what the folder holds: English and the PO language as a minimum).
#
# INSTALLING THIS FILE IS THE OPT-IN. There is no marker file. A project that
# does not copy it publishes nothing.
#
# Copy it to .gitea/workflows/publish-wiki.yml. Then:
# 1. Create the secret TOKEN_FOR_GITEA_WIKI in the organization of the
# repository: a Gitea token with scope write:repository for a user that
# can write this repository (see guides/credentials.md of github-action).
# 2. Enable the wiki in the repository settings.
# 3. Keep @v1, or pin the exact release tag together with tools-ref.
# A runner must be registered for the repository (or its organization).

# prune: "true" deletes wiki pages that are not in docs/wiki/, so the wiki
# always equals the folder. Leave it "false" to keep hand-written pages.

# 🚀 Cookie Clicker Bot
A Selenium bot that plays [Cookie Clicker](https://ozh.github.io/cookieclicker/) for five minutes: it clicks the big cookie, buys upgrades and reports its cookies per second (CPS). It is the day 48 project of Udemy's *100 Days of Code: The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp*, written to be read, run and compared by other course participants.

## 🧭 Overview
The bot follows the five steps of the lecture. Every step is one function with the assignment's name, and every step has a screenshot taken by the bot itself in a headless Chromium inside Docker.
| Step | Function | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | `open_game`, `select_language` | Opens the game and picks English |
| 2 | `click_cookie` | Clicks the big cookie |
| 3 | `get_cookie_count` | Reads the number of cookies |
| 4 | `get_store_items`, `choose_upgrade`, `buy_upgrade` | Buys the most expensive upgrade it can afford |
| 5 | `run_bot`, `get_cps` | Plays for 300 seconds and reports the CPS |
### Lecture step screenshots
**Step 1: open the game and choose a language**
![Step 1: the language prompt](docs/images/step-1-open-game.png)
**Step 2: click the big cookie**
![Step 2: after 15 clicks](docs/images/step-2-click-cookie.png)
**Step 3: read the cookie count**
![Step 3: the cookie counter](docs/images/step-3-read-count.png)
**Step 4: buy the first upgrade**
![Step 4: a cursor bought](docs/images/step-4-buy-upgrade.png)
**Step 5: the five-minute result**
![Step 5: the bakery after five minutes](docs/images/step-5-result.png)
In the run that made these screenshots the bot reached **16.6 cookies per second** after 300 seconds. Your number will differ: it depends on the speed of your machine and the network.
### Parts of the repository
| Folder | Holds |
| --- | --- |
| `src/cookie_clicker_bot/domain/` | Game rules without Selenium: number parsing and the purchase choice |
| `src/cookie_clicker_bot/application/` | The lecture step functions and the ports they need |
| `src/cookie_clicker_bot/infrastructure/` | The Selenium adapter and the clock |
| `src/cookie_clicker_bot/presentation/` | The command line entry points |
| `src/cookie_clicker_bot/constants.py` | All constants: address, element ids, timings |
| `tests/` | pytest tests that need no browser |
| `docker/` | The Docker image used for headless runs and screenshots |
| `docs/` | Project documents, screenshots and the wiki |
The only runtime dependency is `selenium`; a bot cannot drive a browser without it (see ADR-0001 in `docs/adr/`).
## 📋 Requirements
- Python 3.13 or newer.
- Google Chrome (Selenium Manager downloads the matching driver). Not needed to run the tests.
- Docker, only to repeat the headless run and the screenshots.
- Doxygen, only to build the API documentation.
## 🛠️ Setup
Create a local virtual environment, upgrade `pip` and install the project with its development tools.
Windows (PowerShell):
```powershell
python -m venv .venv
.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
Linux and macOS:
```bash
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
Leave the environment with `deactivate`. The `.venv` folder is ignored by git.
## ▶️ Run
With the virtual environment active, start the bot. A Chrome window opens and plays for five minutes, then the bot prints the CPS and closes the browser:
```bash
python -m cookie_clicker_bot
```
Useful options:
```bash
python -m cookie_clicker_bot --headless
python -m cookie_clicker_bot --duration 60
```
To repeat the headless run and the screenshots without touching your desktop, use Docker. The screenshots and a `steps.json` summary land in `runs/` (the ones in `docs/images/` came from such a run):
```bash
docker build -t cookie-clicker-bot -f docker/Dockerfile .
docker run --rm -v "$(pwd)/runs:/runs" cookie-clicker-bot --out /runs
```
To build the API documentation from the Doxygen comments, run `doxygen Doxyfile`; the result is in `docs/api/html/`.
## 🧪 Tests
The tests use fakes for the game and the clock, so they need neither Chrome nor the network:
```bash
python -m pytest
python -m ruff check src tests
python -m mypy src tests
```

# Purchase strategy improvement
## Metadata

## Purpose
Decide whether the bot reaches a higher cookies-per-second (CPS) rate than the 16.6 of the first release by buying more reliably and more often. In the Docker run of MIL-004 about 40 percent of the purchase attempts failed: each failure came right after a successful purchase in the same store visit, because the game had not yet redrawn the store flags.
## Deliverable
The functions `buy_upgrade`, `get_store_items` and `run_bot` changed so that the bot waits for the store to redraw after a purchase, visits the store every second and also buys affordable upgrades; a Docker run of 300 seconds with its CPS, log and refreshed screenshot of step 5; the README and the wiki pages in English, Danish and Bahasa Malaysia updated with the new result and what it taught.
## Go / No-Go Criteria
| # | Criterion (objectively checkable) | Go | No-Go |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | In a 300 second Docker run, fewer than 5 percent of the purchase attempts log "did not raise the owned amount" | Met | Not met |
| 2 | The CPS of that run is higher than the 16.6 of the first release | Met | Not met |
| 3 | `python -m pytest`, `ruff check` and `mypy --strict` pass; `selenium` is still the only runtime dependency | Met | Not met |
| 4 | The source review record says Go | Met | Not met |
| 5 | The README and all three wiki languages show the same new CPS and screenshot | Met | Not met |
## Dependencies
| Depends on | Reason |
| --- | --- |
| MIL-005 | Needs the finished bot, the Docker run and the wiki it updates |
## Traceability
| Business Case objective / KPI / user story | Reference |
| --- | --- |
| O1, O3, O4 in [BC-001] | Success criterion 2 (CPS reported) and the learning record of the wiki |
## Ownership
| Role | Stakeholder ID (SA) |
| --- | --- |
| Owner | S01 |
| Approving reviewer | S01 |
## Target Date
2026-11-03 - within the one-week limit of [BC-001]
## Tasks
| # | Task | Summary | Needs its own Use Case/User Story? | Reference |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Wait for the store redraw after a purchase | After a successful purchase the store flags and prices are stale until the game redraws, so the next choice clicks a product that is no longer affordable. Wait until the price text of the bought product changes before the store is read again; the log of MIL-004 shows the failures follow a purchase. | No | |
| 2 | Visit the store every second | The store is visited every 5 seconds and the loop stops buying at the first failure, so cookies wait idle. Shorten `STORE_CHECK_INTERVAL_SECONDS` and keep buying while something is affordable; measure that clicks per second do not drop. | No | |
| 3 | Buy affordable upgrades | Upgrades such as the cursor and grandma boosts raise the CPS cheaply. Read the enabled upgrade crates in the `upgrades` area and click the cheapest first, behind the existing port with a fake in the tests. | No | |
| 4 | Measure the new strategy in Docker | Run the 300 second headless Docker run again, compare the CPS and the failure rate with the first release (16.6, about 40 percent) and refresh the screenshot of step 5. Environment: Docker container. | No | |
| 5 | Update the README and the wiki | Put the new CPS, the screenshot and what the improvement taught into the README and the English, Danish and Bahasa Malaysia wiki pages of step 4 and step 5. | No | |

## Purpose
This plan schedules the five phases that deliver the Cookie Clicker bot inside the one-week limit of [BC-001].
## Planning Assumptions

- Phase length: one to three days, one branch and one pull request per phase.
- S01 owns every phase; the AI acts as stand-in reviewer for S01 in autonomous mode, recorded in each review.
- The communication cadence of [SA-001] is one pull request per phase and a final summary.
## Gateway Schedule

## Scope Coverage
| Business Case scope item | Gateway |
| --- | --- |
| Bot for the lecture steps | MIL-002, MIL-003 |
| pyproject, .gitignore, .venv instructions, Doxyfile, constants.py | MIL-001, MIL-004 |
| pytest tests with a fake game | MIL-002, MIL-003 |
| Headless Docker run and screenshots | MIL-004 |
| README | MIL-004 |
| Wiki in en, da and ms | MIL-005 |
| Description and topics on the git host | MIL-001 |
## Dependencies
```
MIL-001 → MIL-002 → MIL-003 → MIL-004 → MIL-005
```
A No-Go on a phase returns it to its owner for rework and moves every later gateway by the rework time; the end date 2026-11-04 moves only if S01 decides so and records the reason in Planning Assumptions. S01 is owner, reviewer and the only escalation point.
## Plan Risks
| Risk | Impact | Mitigation |
| --- | --- | --- |
| The live game changes or is unreachable during MIL-004 | Screenshots and the CPS run slip | Run the capture early in MIL-004; stop and report if it stays unreachable |
| Translation takes longer than planned | MIL-005 slips | Danish and Bahasa Malaysia follow the English page by page, with a short page set |
| Repository name differs from the one in the request | Metadata set on the wrong repository | Use the repository `origin` points to; reported in the plan summary |
| Token handling (Business Case risk: a token leaks) | Secret exposure | Tokens only read from `.env` by scripts outside the project, never printed |
| Live game changes (Business Case risk: page structure changes) | Bot breaks | Ids in `constants.py`; run the capture early in MIL-004 |
## Open Issues
- The request names `https://git.tirsystem.com/Tirsvad-Udemy-100_days_of_code` (underscores); `origin` is `Tirsvad-Udemy-100-days-of-code/048-the-coockie-factory`. The plan applies description and topics to the `origin` repository.
- The Product Owner's earlier solution targeted the old Orteil page and used the extra package `continuous_threading`; this project reimplements it for the current game with one loop and no extra dependency.

| Wiki in en, da and ms | MIL-005 |
| Description and topics on the git host | MIL-001 |

## Dependencies
```
MIL-001 → MIL-002 → MIL-003 → MIL-004 → MIL-005 → MIL-006
```
MIL-006 was added after the first release; it runs beside the end of the window and must finish by 2026-11-03, one day before the end date.
A No-Go on a phase returns it to its owner for rework and moves every later gateway by the rework time; the end date 2026-11-04 moves only if S01 decides so and records the reason in Planning Assumptions. S01 is owner, reviewer and the only escalation point.

| Live game changes (Business Case risk: page structure changes) | Bot breaks | Ids in `constants.py`; run the capture early in MIL-004 |
| The new strategy does not raise the CPS | MIL-006 returns No-Go | Measure after each change; keep the first release as the fallback |

## Artifact Under Review
- Instance reviewed: source of milestone MIL-002 (open_game, select_language, click_cookie, get_cookie_count, parser, Selenium adapter) ([MIL-002])
- Checklist used: [QC-PY-001]
- Scope: full review
- Language and domain: n/a (technical type)
- Language reviewer: none
- Mode: autonomous, not independent (the reviewer is `AI as stand-in for S01`)
## Checklist Results
| # | Criterion | Status | Evidence/Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Packages, modules, functions, variables, classes and constants follow PEP 8 casing (`snake_case`, `PascalCase`, `UPPER_SNAKE`) | Pass | snake_case modules and functions, PascalCase classes, UPPER_SNAKE constants. |
| 2 | Names state purpose in the domain's language; no unexplained abbreviations, no single-letter names outside tiny scopes | Pass | Names state purpose: parse_game_number, wait_for_element, ELEMENT_TIMEOUT_SECONDS. |
| 3 | Code is produced by the project's formatter and passes its linter with no unexplained suppressions | Pass | `ruff check` and `ruff format --check` clean; no suppressions. |
| 4 | Every function and method signature is type-annotated, including `-> None` | Pass | All signatures annotated, including -> None; mypy strict passes. |
| 5 | No bare `except:`, no swallowed exceptions; specific exceptions are raised and the cause is kept (`raise ... from`) | Pass | No bare except; ValueError and UnreadableNumberError are raised with a message. |
| 6 | No mutable default arguments and no shadowed builtins | Pass | No mutable defaults; no builtin shadowed. |
| 7 | Files, locks and connections are managed with context managers | N-A | The browser is released by SeleniumGame.close(); the composition root in MIL-003 calls it in a finally block. |
| 8 | Public modules, classes and functions have docstrings that say what, not how | Pass | Public modules, classes and functions have Doxygen docstrings (@brief, @param, @return). |
| 9 | Logging uses `logging`, not `print`; no secrets or personal data in log output | N-A | No logging yet; added with the run loop in MIL-003. |
| 10 | Classes and operations trace to the Design Class Diagram they implement; deviations are recorded | N-A | Plain technical tasks; no Design Class Diagram exists or is required. |
| 11 | Tests exist for new behaviour, are named for the behaviour, and do not depend on order or the network | Pass | 33 tests (unit and integration) run offline with a fake game and a fake driver; positive, negative, boundary and edge cases covered. |
| 12 | Type checker runs in strict mode without errors; `Any` is justified in a comment | Pass | mypy --strict: no issues in 22 files; no Any. |
| 13 | Dependencies are declared and pinned in the project's dependency file, none unused | Pass | selenium is declared and is the only runtime dependency. |
| 14 | Each piece of knowledge (a business rule, constant, format, validation or query) is defined in one place; code is merged only where it expresses the same knowledge, not where it merely looks alike | Pass | URL, ids and number words are defined once in constants.py. |
| 15 | Imports point inward: business-rule modules import no framework, database, UI or delivery-mechanism code, and there are no import cycles | Pass | domain imports only constants; application imports domain and its own port; only infrastructure/selenium_game.py imports selenium; no cycles. |
| 16 | SOLID holds: a class or module has one reason to change; new behaviour is added by extension, not by editing a type test in several places; subclasses honour the contract of their base; protocols are narrow; high-level code depends on protocols or abstract types and receives its implementations | Pass | GamePort is a narrow Protocol (4 methods); SeleniumGame receives its driver (dependency inversion); each module has one purpose. |
| 17 | Source is laid out in the layers and folders of the clean architecture folder structure (`domain`, `application`, `infrastructure`, `presentation` packages under `src/`, and `unit`, `integration` and `e2e` under `tests/`), in `snake_case`, and imports between the layers point inward | Pass | domain, application (ports, use_cases), infrastructure and presentation under src/; unit, integration and e2e under tests/. |
| 18 | File and folder names are English, contain no space and no character outside letters, digits, `-`, `_` and `.`, and follow the casing of the language for files | Pass | All names English, snake_case, no spaces. |
## Overall Verdict
Go - All Mandatory criteria pass or are not applicable; the live-game behaviour is verified in MIL-004. Stand-in review, not independent.

## Artifact Under Review
- Instance reviewed: source of milestone MIL-003 (store, choose_upgrade, buy_upgrade, get_cps, run_bot, main) ([MIL-003])
- Checklist used: [QC-PY-001]
- Scope: full review
- Language and domain: n/a (technical type)
- Language reviewer: none
- Mode: autonomous, not independent (the reviewer is `AI as stand-in for S01`)
## Checklist Results
| # | Criterion | Status | Evidence/Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Packages, modules, functions, variables, classes and constants follow PEP 8 casing (`snake_case`, `PascalCase`, `UPPER_SNAKE`) | Pass | PEP 8 casing throughout. |
| 2 | Names state purpose in the domain's language; no unexplained abbreviations, no single-letter names outside tiny scopes | Pass | Names state purpose (choose_upgrade, STORE_CHECK_INTERVAL_SECONDS). |
| 3 | Code is produced by the project's formatter and passes its linter with no unexplained suppressions | Pass | `ruff check` clean, `ruff format` applied, no suppressions. |
| 4 | Every function and method signature is type-annotated, including `-> None` | Pass | All signatures annotated; mypy --strict passes on 33 files. |
| 5 | No bare `except:`, no swallowed exceptions; specific exceptions are raised and the cause is kept (`raise ... from`) | Pass | Specific exceptions (ValueError, UnreadableNumberError); a failed purchase is logged and stops the buying loop instead of being swallowed. |
| 6 | No mutable default arguments and no shadowed builtins | Pass | No mutable defaults, no shadowed builtins. |
| 7 | Files, locks and connections are managed with context managers | Pass | The browser is released in a finally block in cli.main (tested when run_bot raises). |
| 8 | Public modules, classes and functions have docstrings that say what, not how | Pass | Doxygen docstrings on all public items. |
| 9 | Logging uses `logging`, not `print`; no secrets or personal data in log output | Pass | Progress goes through logging; the only print is the program result `Result : <cps>` in the command line entry point; no secrets are logged. |
| 10 | Classes and operations trace to the Design Class Diagram they implement; deviations are recorded | N-A | Plain technical tasks; no Design Class Diagram exists or is required. |
| 11 | Tests exist for new behaviour, are named for the behaviour, and do not depend on order or the network | Pass | 74 offline tests with a fake game and a fake clock; no sleeps, no network, no browser; positive, negative, boundary, edge, error handling and timing cases. |
| 12 | Type checker runs in strict mode without errors; `Any` is justified in a comment | Pass | mypy --strict clean; no Any. |
| 13 | Dependencies are declared and pinned in the project's dependency file, none unused | Pass | selenium remains the only runtime dependency. |
| 14 | Each piece of knowledge (a business rule, constant, format, validation or query) is defined in one place; code is merged only where it expresses the same knowledge, not where it merely looks alike | Pass | Ids, class names, burst size and intervals live in constants.py; decimal parsing is shared by parse_game_number. |
| 15 | Imports point inward: business-rule modules import no framework, database, UI or delivery-mechanism code, and there are no import cycles | Pass | domain imports only constants and errors; application imports domain and ports; selenium only in infrastructure; the CLI is the composition root. |
| 16 | SOLID holds: a class or module has one reason to change; new behaviour is added by extension, not by editing a type test in several places; subclasses honour the contract of their base; protocols are narrow; high-level code depends on protocols or abstract types and receives its implementations | Pass | Clock and GamePort are narrow Protocols; run_bot receives both (dependency inversion); one purpose per module. |
| 17 | Source is laid out in the layers and folders of the clean architecture folder structure (`domain`, `application`, `infrastructure`, `presentation` packages under `src/`, and `unit`, `integration` and `e2e` under `tests/`), in `snake_case`, and imports between the layers point inward | Pass | Layers under src/ and unit and integration tests under tests/. |
| 18 | File and folder names are English, contain no space and no character outside letters, digits, `-`, `_` and `.`, and follow the casing of the language for files | Pass | All names English, snake_case, no spaces. |
## Overall Verdict
Go - All Mandatory criteria pass or are not applicable; behaviour against the live game is verified in MIL-004. Stand-in review, not independent.

| 9 | Logging uses `logging`, not `print`; no secrets or personal data in log output | Pass | Progress goes through logging; print is used only for the program result; no secrets in output. |
| 10 | Classes and operations trace to the Design Class Diagram they implement; deviations are recorded | N-A | Plain technical tasks; no Design Class Diagram exists or is required. |
| 11 | Tests exist for new behaviour, are named for the behaviour, and do not depend on order or the network | Pass | 99 offline tests (fake game, fake clock, fake driver); the live behaviour was checked in Docker: two full 300 second runs reported 15.7 and 16.6 cookies per second, the last one is in the README. |
| 12 | Type checker runs in strict mode without errors; `Any` is justified in a comment | Pass | mypy --strict clean; no Any. |
| 13 | Dependencies are declared and pinned in the project's dependency file, none unused | Pass | selenium remains the only runtime dependency; the Docker image installs only chromium for the browser. |
| 14 | Each piece of knowledge (a business rule, constant, format, validation or query) is defined in one place; code is merged only where it expresses the same knowledge, not where it merely looks alike | Pass | Environment variable names, step file names and limits live in constants.py. |
| 15 | Imports point inward: business-rule modules import no framework, database, UI or delivery-mechanism code, and there are no import cycles | Pass | selenium is imported only in infrastructure; presentation modules are composition roots. |
| 16 | SOLID holds: a class or module has one reason to change; new behaviour is added by extension, not by editing a type test in several places; subclasses honour the contract of their base; protocols are narrow; high-level code depends on protocols or abstract types and receives its implementations | Pass | Ports stay narrow; capture_steps uses SeleniumGame directly because screenshots are documentation tooling (decision recorded in the hand-over). |
| 17 | Source is laid out in the layers and folders of the clean architecture folder structure (`domain`, `application`, `infrastructure`, `presentation` packages under `src/`, and `unit`, `integration` and `e2e` under `tests/`), in `snake_case`, and imports between the layers point inward | Pass | Layers under src/, unit, integration and e2e under tests/. |
| 18 | File and folder names are English, contain no space and no character outside letters, digits, `-`, `_` and `.`, and follow the casing of the language for files | Pass | All names English, no spaces; Dockerfile is a fixed tool name. |
## Overall Verdict
Go - All Mandatory criteria pass or are not applicable. GUI runs were done headless in a Docker container; no GUI was started on the host desktop. The Docker run showed that about 40 percent of the purchase attempts fail because the store flags are read just before the game redraws; the bot logs and retries at the next store check (noted for the wiki). Stand-in review, not independent.

# Beskrivelse
🌐 [English](Description) · **Dansk** · [Bahasa Melayu](Description-ms)
| Lag | Indeholder | Kender Selenium? |
| --- | --- | --- |

# Huraian
🌐 [English](Description) · [Dansk](Description-da) · **Bahasa Melayu**
| Lapisan | Mengandungi | Mengenali Selenium? |
| --- | --- | --- |

# Description
🌐 **English** · [Dansk](Description-da) · [Bahasa Melayu](Description-ms)
## What the project is
The bot opens Cookie Clicker in Chrome, clicks the big cookie as fast as the game allows, visits the store every five seconds and buys the most expensive product it can afford. After 300 seconds it reads the cookies per second and prints `Result : <cps>`.
## How the code is layered
The code follows a small Clean Architecture, so the decisions can be tested without a browser.
| Layer | Holds | Knows about Selenium? |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `domain` | Number parsing (`parse_game_number`) and the purchase choice (`choose_upgrade`) | No |
| `application` | The lecture step functions and the ports `GamePort` and `Clock` | No |
| `infrastructure` | `SeleniumGame` (the adapter) and `SystemClock` | Yes |
| `presentation` | `main` and the screenshot capture, the composition roots | Through the adapter |
`constants.py` holds the address, the element ids, the timings and the number words, so a change in the game's page is a change in one file.
## The one dependency
`selenium` is the only runtime dependency. A bot cannot drive a browser without it, and the assignment uses it. The reasons and the options that were rejected are in ADR-0001 (see [Appendix](Appendix-Documentation)).
## What the tests prove
The 99 tests use a fake game and a fake clock. They run in a second, need no Chrome and no network, and cover the parser, the strategy, the loop and the command line. The real game was exercised only in Docker (see [step 5](Step-5-Five-Minute-Run)).

# Installation
🌐 [English](Install) · **Dansk** · [Bahasa Melayu](Install-ms)
## Du skal bruge
- Python 3.13 eller nyere.
- Google Chrome (Selenium Manager henter driveren).
```powershell
python -m venv .venv
.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
```bash
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
## Kør botten og testene
```bash
python -m cookie_clicker_bot
python -m cookie_clicker_bot --headless --duration 60
python -m pytest
```
## Gentag skærmbillederne i Docker
```bash
docker build -t cookie-clicker-bot -f docker/Dockerfile .
docker run --rm -v "$(pwd)/runs:/runs" cookie-clicker-bot --out /runs
## Anda memerlukan
- Python 3.13 atau lebih baharu.
- Google Chrome (Selenium Manager memuat turun pemandu). Tidak diperlukan untuk ujian.
- Docker, hanya untuk mengulang larian tanpa kepala dan tangkapan skrin.
## Cipta dan guna `.venv` setempat
Blok pertama untuk Windows PowerShell, yang kedua untuk Linux dan macOS. Keluar daripada persekitaran dengan `deactivate`.
```powershell
python -m venv .venv
.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
```bash
python3 -m venv .venv

## Jalankan bot dan ujian
```bash
python -m cookie_clicker_bot
python -m cookie_clicker_bot --headless --duration 60
python -m pytest
```
```bash
docker build -t cookie-clicker-bot -f docker/Dockerfile .
docker run --rm -v "$(pwd)/runs:/runs" cookie-clicker-bot --out /runs
## You need
- Python 3.13 or newer.
- Google Chrome (Selenium Manager downloads the driver). Not needed for the tests.
- Docker, only to repeat the headless run and the screenshots.
## Create and use a local `.venv`
The first block is for Windows PowerShell, the second for Linux and macOS. Leave the environment with `deactivate`.
```powershell
python -m venv .venv
.venv\Scripts\Activate.ps1
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
python -m pip install -e ".[dev]"
```
```bash

# Trin 1: åbn spillet
🌐 [English](Step-1-Open-The-Game) · **Dansk** · [Bahasa Melayu](Step-1-Open-The-Game-ms)
![Trin 1: åbn spillet](https://git.tirsystem.com/Tirsvad-Udemy-100-days-of-code/048-the-coockie-factory/raw/branch/main/docs/images/step-1-open-game.png)

def open_game(game: GamePort) -> None:

def select_language(game: GamePort) -> None:
game.click_element(LANGUAGE_BUTTON_PREFIX + LANGUAGE_CODE)
game.wait_for_element(BIG_COOKIE_ID)

## What we gained
- **A real click, not a script click.** The game ignores synthetic clicks above about 3 per second but accepts about 50 per second from a real click, so `SeleniumGame` always uses `element.click()`.
- **Guard the input.** A negative number of clicks raises `ValueError`, and zero clicks is allowed; both are tested.

- **Confirm the result, do not assume it.** `buy_upgrade` checks that the owned amount (`productOwned<N>`) went up. Checking the cookie count first was wrong: the count keeps rising while the bot clicks.
