  • Makefile in the root, builds src/prime_avx2.c into dist/ (dist/ is git-ignored)
  • Program lists every prime from 0 to 1,000,000 and prints the search time to stderr
  • Wiki pages in docs/wiki (English): Home, Description, Results, Build and run

Result on i5-13600K: 78498 primes in 20.977 ms. Also verified under WSL (gcc): 78498 primes in ~13.8 ms.

Add AVX2 prime check with cross-platform Makefile e4be228a5b 
Trial division by 6k+/-1 using double-precision AVX2 lanes so the quotient is exact for 32-bit n. Makefile builds on Linux and Windows (MinGW gcc).
