On the throwaway branch verify-code-metrics-defaults:
code-metrics.yml@v2 with the defaults fails in "Validate the inputs": bash: shared-scripts/tools/code-metrics.sh: No such file or directory, exit code 127 (run 1499, job 1638). tools-ref is v1, where the script is absent.
code-metrics.yml@v1 creates no run and shows no error.
Of the five reusable workflows only code-metrics.yml names a tag without its script; the other four resolve, but a caller at @v2 runs their scripts from 1.2.2.
The milestone has a "Verification results" section and a new Proposed Version History row; the delta review follows before task 2.
