New reusable workflow publish-wiki-pages.yml (ADR-0009): inputs wiki_dir (default docs/wiki), prune and tools-ref; the secret TOKEN_FOR_GITEA_WIKI is declared and passed by the caller, with no fallback.
tools/publish_wiki.py: WIKI_PRUNE selects explicit mode without the marker; a missing folder is a configuration error. Without it the script behaves as before.
publish-own-wiki.yml: this repository calls the reusable workflow with tools-ref: main.
wiki/ moves to docs/wiki/ (build_wiki.py and its tests follow; wiki/.publish is removed).
The scoped publish-wiki.yml is deprecated, not removed: 8 repositories still publish through it (checked 2026-10-13).
Guides, README and the Danish and Bahasa Malaysia wiki pages describe the caller, docs/wiki/ and the new error messages.
Plan and decisions: MIL-008 (Accepted, RC-060, RC-061), ADR-0009 (Proposed). Changelog entry for 1.2.2.

A local uses: ./.gitea/workflows/... call and a declared secret through workflow_call have not run on this Gitea. The first run after merge is the test; a failure writes nothing to the wiki.
With prune: "true" the first run deletes wiki pages that are not in docs/wiki/, including the stale *.-.md pages.
Release
1.2.2 is a patch release by the owner's decision, although ADR-0006 classes a new workflow as minor; the changelog states it. Run the Release workflow after merge (dry run first).
Order
Depends on lf-line-endings (merge it first). No pin moves in this pull request.
Refs: no issues exist yet for MIL-008; the milestone sync creates them after merge.
## What
- New reusable workflow `publish-wiki-pages.yml` (ADR-0009): inputs `wiki_dir` (default `docs/wiki`), `prune` and `tools-ref`; the secret `TOKEN_FOR_GITEA_WIKI` is declared and passed by the caller, with no fallback.
- `tools/publish_wiki.py`: `WIKI_PRUNE` selects explicit mode without the marker; a missing folder is a configuration error. Without it the script behaves as before.
- `publish-own-wiki.yml`: this repository calls the reusable workflow with `tools-ref: main`.
- `wiki/` moves to `docs/wiki/` (`build_wiki.py` and its tests follow; `wiki/.publish` is removed).
- The scoped `publish-wiki.yml` is **deprecated, not removed**: 8 repositories still publish through it (checked 2026-10-13).
- Guides, README and the Danish and Bahasa Malaysia wiki pages describe the caller, `docs/wiki/` and the new error messages.

MIL-008 plans publishing the wiki through a reusable workflow that reads
docs/wiki/. ADR-0009 records the decision. RC-060 accepts the plan; RC-061
accepts the amendment that deprecates the scoped workflow instead of
removing it, because eight repositories still publish through it.
- publish-wiki-pages.yml: reusable workflow with wiki_dir, prune and
tools-ref inputs and the declared secret TOKEN_FOR_GITEA_WIKI
- tools/publish_wiki.py: WIKI_PRUNE selects explicit mode without the marker;
a missing folder is a configuration error
- publish-own-wiki.yml: this repository calls the reusable workflow
- wiki/ moves to docs/wiki/; build_wiki.py and its tests follow
- the scoped publish-wiki.yml is marked deprecated, not removed
- guides, README and the Danish and Bahasa Malaysia wiki pages describe the
caller, docs/wiki/ and the new error messages
